Introduction

What Asomium is, who it's for, and what it does. Start here.

Asomium is a macOS workspace for indie iOS, iPadOS, and macOS developers. It replaces the five App Store Connect tabs, Figma board, Xcode archive sheet, and translation spreadsheet you currently bounce between every release — with one window.

What’s inside

  • Metadata grid — edit every locale at once. AI translation in one click. One-click expansion from en-US to the other English storefronts (en-AU, en-CA, en-GB).
  • Screenshot generator — device frames for iPhone, iPad, Mac. Caption layers, theme system, batch export to every supported size.
  • ASO tracking — keyword discovery, daily rank tracking across locales, autocomplete sweeps, competitor metadata intelligence.
  • Ship pipelinexcodebuild archive → upload → wait for indexing → attach build to version → submit for review. No tab-switching.
  • Release control — manual / automatic / phased rollout / scheduled, with pause / resume / release-to-all controls for active phased releases.
  • Analytics — daily Sales and Trends reports pulled, decompressed, parsed and aggregated server-side.
  • MCP server — 35 release-workflow tools exposed to Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor and Windsurf. See MCP overview.

Who it’s for

Asomium is built for indie devs who ship multiple apps and feel the same pain on every release. If you’re a single-app studio with one release per year, the App Store Connect website is probably fine. If you ship something to ASC every few weeks, the manual workflow is taxing you in time you’d rather spend on the product.

What you need

  • macOS 14 (Sonoma) or later
  • An App Store Connect API key with App Manager role
  • An Anthropic API key if you want AI translation (optional)
  • An Xcode-installed Mac if you want to use the build & ship pipeline
